Called after hours for an emergency and they absolutely refused to talk to me or see my bird since i wasn't a previous client. When any animal is possibly in trouble, what kind of place would turn them down?
Every time I took my animal in it was on the "brink of death" and needed a bunch of expensive shots and tests. Since I changed vets the animal has miraculously been healed of anything that was ever wrong with it and went from $600-$800 visits at Den Herder to $30-$60 visits elsewhere. My new vet could not believe what I was being charged for and what my pet was forced to endure with shots and tests. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO GET A SECOND OPINION.
