I started going to Ada Vet Hospital 25 years ago when Drs. Steve and Nancy first started. They are wonderful vets with vast knowledge. I love that they can do many surgeries in house, saving me lots of money from the big ER type hospitals. They have taken care of my two dogs since they were pups. We took Willy to them last year when he was 17 years old to have him put to sleep. It was so sad but they were great. Love these guys!

When I brought my puppy in for a vaccination, there was a bloody cotton ball on the floor that she nearly swallowed. This was in the early morning, and there was also dog hair all over the floors. Actually, every exam room seems to have dog hair all over the floors, even in the morning. It really made me worry about how sterile these rooms are, especially with a puppy without full vaccinations. When I told them about my puppy's finding they dismissed it like it was nothing. I asked for a full puppy exam and that basically consisted of weighing the dog and asking if I have any concerns. The vet also didn't seem very interested in what I had to say, they seemed to just want me in and out as quickly as possible. Lastly, they are not very organized. The vet does not give any instructions to the front desk, so if I don't tell them when the next exam is supposed to be, or what I am supposed take home for my puppy, it doesn't happen. I am not the vet, I don't know how far apart her exams are supposed to be! They also seemed to be completely confused about which shots my puppy had already even though all of her vaccinations were done there. I will be taking my dog somewhere else from here on out.

I have never seen this place as the other reviewer describes. They ALWAYS send me a card reminding me of what vaccines are needed for all three of our animals. We have been customers for two years, having come from a VERY unorganized and overpriced area vet, we are THRILLED. They genuinely love animals and greet them as if they were their own. You couldn't ask for more concerned vets. This place is A+ We have also recently used the cat hotel...it was SUCH relief to have our kitties safe and well cared for while we went on vacation. The staff was very accommodating with our late arrival schedule; very appreciated after a long day's car journey.

I have been to several vets over the years for my small dog, and I always felt like I was being told instead of talked to. This vet team listens to your concerns, and respects your place as your pets caregiver. They are knowledgeable and thoughtful. I trust them to do what is best for me as well as my pet. I also find their facility to be clean and with no "kennel" odor. They aren't a fancy establishment, but do you want to pay for the facility or the quality of care? The two vets I have seen have degrees from colorado state university hanging on the wall, which is among the top vet schools in the nation! I'll take that over fancy decor any day!
