So disappointed. On two occasions the doctors did a forced upsell on me. The first time it was heart worm service - even though the doctor admitted he'd only seen one case in two years. On the second occasion, they charged me for a consult they said would be free; aggressively worked to upsell me to have a tooth removed (not needed); put blood work on my payment invoice they didn't tell me about; put the tooth removal on the proposal AFTER I said no (offering a 10% discount to "help"). I love my dog more than anything. I'll do anything for her. Unfortunately it seems Broadway Vet plays on that for upsells. I will NOT be back.

I cannot believe all of the bad reviews here!! I have been taking my beloved dog Sunnie to these vets for years, and have been extremely satisfied. I refer friends whenever I get the chance. Dogs are expensive and their care is expensive. Since I have lived in Boise for many years I have been to other vets. Broadway is not out of line with the others. I have made decisions not to have certain tests or teeth cleaning etc. because I did not want to pay the price at the time. They did not make me feel badly, and I did not take my dog elsewhere because I was offended! All of the staff have been respectful, friendly and professional. I trust them fully with my dog.

Save your money and time, do NOT take your animal here. I've taken two of my dogs here for two different illnesses, both times they charged me a lot of money for tests and came back with "we still don't know but we can run more tests". So after several hundred dollars I left with no answers and no treatment for my dogs. After the second time I took my dog to another vet who ran the same tests for half the price (including the medication) and also explained to me what was going on with my dog. I will never return here again.

Broadway Vet and ALL their staff deserve nothing but the best rating. We joined them several years ago with three dogs, two of which we lost to cancer a few years back. Not only were all of the staff professional and knowledgeable, they always treated our dogs with compassion and respect even at the point when we had to have them finally put to sleep. Of these three dogs, we have one of the brothers left and have since brought to our family another girl dog a few years younger. She wound up with some rare disease causing her fatty tissues to get hard (for lack of a better technical term right now). All of the doctors (not just Dr. Sessions, but also Dr. Caldwell and Dr. Everett) educated us (even during times when we just used their facility's back yard to exercise our dogs) on the problem (they had dealt with it before) and provided direct treatment and some surgery to resolve it. Now our 'little diva' is cured and on ongoing treatments so it doesn't appear again. What I'm getting at here is this--they (Broadway Vet) are so much a part of our family, I wouldn't trust my dogs anywhere else anymore for vet services and advice. As far as the cost, I believe they are very reasonable and have never overcharged us for anything we needed from them and so much more. Compassionate, professional, friendly, competent and our dogs love them. I only wish that they would also offer grooming and some in-house water hydro-therapy and other 'boutique' offerings, but you can't have everything. And, if I weren't human, they'd be my personal medical team as well---that's how highly my family and I think of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I discontinued using Broadway Vet some years ago after I realized how much more expensive they were for comparable care and service elsewhere. While on vacation, my dog sitter (ignoring my emergency care instructions) took my dog in to Broadway for bleeding gums. Two simple tooth extractions resulted. I compared the itemized statement against what my Vet would have charged and, once again, costs were substantially higher at Broadway Vet. It just confirmed my previous decision.
