These guys are friendly and really do care about animals. The vet who took our Boots in looked happy to see her, and on the care recommendation papers (she was spayed) they even put a little comment saying she was a wonderful little lady and they would love to have her again. I found that very sweet. It was a small incision to remove her reproductive organs, which I like, I've had vets before do a big ol' incision, and having a small one is just better in my opinion. Less heal time, and probably less painful. I like that they also give you papers on how to properly care for an animal who has just been spayed or neutered, my mom already knew she would have problems regulating her temperature and all that, but a lot of people do not know that, so again, I really like that they give you that information. They are also participating in the SNIP program, which again, I find that fantastic. With the SNIP coupon it was approximately 20 dollars and she also had her rabies vaccine which was 33 dollars. I would absolutely go to them again!

I have taken my dogs to Dr. Bauscher for 20 years. He has consistently shown excellent care and compassion for my canine companions. One of the many things I like about his practice is that he provides all necessary medical care without pushing unnecessary products, as I have heard some vets do. After my dogs have had procedures involving a stay at the clinic, I received them back clean and in good condition. His interaction with my dogs has always made it obvious that he loves animals. They are comfortable with him, even if in pain or stressed. In 20 years, lives of dogs inevitably end. In those situations, Dr. Bauscher has showed as much genuine concern and sympathy for me and my family as he has for my dogs. I recently lost a Lab to cancer. During the visit when she was diagnosed, upon his return to the exam room after viewing the x-rays, the look of sadness on his face told me everything before he said anything.

For years we went to a local vet for our animal's care, the cost was seemingly cheap and they seemed to do the job. However, walking in the door we were always greeted by unhappy people that seemed completely put out anytime someone entered the building or attempted to talk to them. After some scary experiences and even worse stories from other reliable sources we switched to Canyon Small Animal Hospital. I have been quite happy with the service and the staff always has on a happy face accompanied by a pleasant attitude. My dog can be difficult to deal with, but they are very patient and friendly with her. I have appreciated every visit and left happy and satisfied every time. I recommend them to family and friends every opportunity I get!

Horrible experience. Took my little guy in with a lame leg.The vet immediately tried to manhandle a small frightened dog.of course the dog tried to bite. He then said he would sedate the dog and examine himand they would call me that afternoon. I had barely been home an hour when they called and said come get the dog.The doctor?wouldn't examine him because he would not settle down.I went to pick him up and he was in acage with a leash tied around his neck. The and again i question the title of dr.did not even come out and talk to me.i was handed a bottle of tramadol and charged for an examination never given.horrible experience horrible treatment and nonexistent animal skills.Would never reccommend or return.
