Our kitty was very sick. When I called in, they got us in that same day. Dr. Mills & Bridget were so caring and gentle with our cat. They hydrated her, gave good advice & with the antibiotics prescribed, we saw improvement the next day. I'm not sure that she would have made it without veterinary care. We also had her spayed there & her first checkup there 3.5 years ago; consistently good care.

We had our dog in to see the vet, Dr. Mills. He struck both my husband and me as haughty, distracted, and downright arrogant. He doesn't seem to know much about our breed of dog, and we didn't trust him with his recommendations. He inspired NO trust, and we've heard from a friend that she feels the same way and is now taking her dog to another vet in Boise. Really, there are so many vets in the area and this guy is on the lower end of the competence scale. We went to Boise instead and are very pleased with our vet there.

The staff is super friendly and excellent with all our pets. Dr. Mills is knowledgable and trustworthy. I'm so happy to have found this vet hospital (been going there for about a year and a half after having tried a few other places). Prior to moving to the Boise area, I had a neighbor who was my vet and she was the only vet I trusted because she never tried to push unnecessary treatments. She truly had the pet's best interest at heart. I find this same quality in Dr. Mills and his staff.

We were referred to this veterinarian through a friend of ours. I am so thankful for this veterinarian and his caring staff. They were very accommodating, understanding and compassionate. Unlike most vets who care more about the money then the treatment of the pet, Dr. Mills clearly genuinely cares about your pet. Charges are very reasonable and clear. He does not nickel and dime you for everything, nor does he run unnecessary tests. I worked at a vet for six years in California and have been to many in Idaho since we moved here. It was a tall order to fill the shoes of the man I worked for (who is one of the best, most compassionate vets I know). After trying quite a few, I thankfully found Dr. Mills. He's nothing short of amazing. Customer service is his utmost concern and he truly does care about your animals. I took my cat in when she wasn't feeling well and he must have spent at least 45 mins with me in the exam room. He also didn't recommend a ton of unnecessary tests, instead we did minimal treatment and rode it out. My kitty is perfectly healthy now and doing great, thanks to Dr. Mills. I also recently transferred one of my other kitty's prescriptions to Settler's Park, and not only is it cheaper now, but I don't have to get her thyroid tested every 6 months like the other place and get an exam every year on top of that. He truly does work with the customer on their needs and capabilities. He also takes into account the stress on the animal, more than any vet I've found here. I highly recommend Dr. Mills!
