A very costly experience which resulted in a dead cat and no answers! Seems the center is more concerned with making money then providing answers. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone! I brought a sick cat into the clinic thinking the cat had been hit by a car. The vet suggested some x-rays, which seemed reasonable. After the x-rays were done, the vet pulled us back to review them. No broken bones, no acute abnormalities could be found. The vet recommended an overnight stay on oxygen. My husband initially declined saying that we would bring the cat home and monitor him overnight. The vet objected and then offered to euthanize the cat. We really felt like we did not have an option in treatment. So we reluctantly agreed to allow the cat to stay overnight. The office staff called us the next morning to say that our cat had died around midnight. Our total bill was over $400. $150 for 3 hours of oxygen!!!! And this DID NOT include disposing of the remains,etc. My husband ended up paying the bill and spoke with a different vet about what could have possible happened. NO ANSWERS, just offered to perform more testing ($$$) on an already dead cat! I contacted the office by email regarding my complaints and have not heard a word from them in response to my complaint. I will never return, or suggest that anyone else return! We paid a lot of money for NO ANSWERS, and A DEAD CAT!

Dr. Mendall at Kindness Small Animal Clinic in Nampa is by far the best vet we have ever had. Our dogs love him and the entire staff is very kind and welcoming. We now live in Boise but continue to make the drive to Nampa for our vet needs because they are that good! I highly recommend you check them out. Thanks Dr. Mendall and staff for taking great care of our big puppies throughout the years!

My puppy got pavo and it waz the closes place to go thay were snoby to us untill i told them it waz parvo and then thay were nice to us and when we had to put him down thay gave us time to say good by but like the otheres said it waz all about the $$$ till i told them it waz parvo

My dog is 11yr old and they want to charge me 200$ for blood work and then told me that a dog isn't family and that I need to put my dog down because I couldn't afford to pay 200$ for blood work. And they would give him and more pain meds for his broken back..and they told me that my 2 lbs poodle wasn't going to get pain med when she broke her lag because she didn't need then and it's good for them to suffer.. I will never go here again..

We love our vet! Have been going here 7+years and won't bring our dogs anywhere else. Dr. Maendl really cares about the animals and the office staff is really helpful.
