We had the pleasure of taking our little shih Tzu who was in labor. We had been told by other vets she would more than likely have to have a C-section because of her small size. We had a very pleasant experience here last night. Dr Hubert and assistant Jody were amazing. They were so pleasant, helpful, professional, very personable.....and made our experience there a truly great one. With their patience and great help our little dog was able to deliver her puppies on her own. We live north of Spokane, so it was a drive for us, but are to glad we decided to make the trip there. We would highly recommend this clinic should anyone have the need for an emergency!

I have been to North Idaho Pet Emergency several times with different pets, and once just recently with my Labrador retriever. My Lab injured (cut) her inside rear leg really good, and need treatment, of course after hours for our regular vet. We called in a head of time and the man on the phone was very professional and was going to make sure the Dr. was informed. We arrived and the team of individuals there are a well oiled machine. They took our information, and then the dog in right away. The Dr. briefed us as soon as she finished up the care on the dog, and she was very polite, professional, and explained things to us very well. We are extremely lucky we have such great service here in North Idaho. As an added Bonus, the Emergency Vet then sent all the Medical documents to our regular vet so they were able to assist with the proper follow ups and meds as needed. The Pet Emergency moved just East of their strip mall location about a year ago to 3046 E Seltice Way. as of this review, Google map showed incorrect location.

I went there with my pregnant dog and I thought the Dr. Anne? What a wack job!!! Sshe really should not be allowed out of the house. NO BEDSIDE MANNER AND A WEIRD WEIRD PERSON. I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER!

This Pet Clinic has the rare distinction of treating rabbits. I have a pet rabbit that has had to be taken in several times. I don't know what I'd do without this clinic. They're always so helpful and friendly.

I normally do not write reviews but I feel like it is important to share my experience so that other pet owners can make an informed decison. Our dog was injured over the weekend and I was very frustrated by the lack of quality reviews regarding emergency pet service and vets in general. It seems that every vet/clinic in the area has as many negative reviews as it does positive ones. We almost decided to wait until our regular vet opened on Monday because of some of the bad reviews, and we are glad we didn't wait. I normally don't care enough to write a review of a business but I am hoping that by sharing a level headed review other pet owners will be able to feel good about seeking medical attention at this location. Ok now for the review. Once we walked through the door we were greeted quickly and immediatly put into an exam room. We were able to see the vet within 5 minutes and she was very caring and knowledgable. Our dog had some major damage to her eye and the vet had to sedate her in order to find the problem. Was the visit expensive? Yes. We were overcharged? Absolutely not. The exam itself was $85 which they tell you upfront and the rest of the cost we incured was for the 7 prescriptions that we were sent home with. I personally feel like $85 is a resonable exam cost considering that they are open 24 hours on the weekend. I checked with the regular vet and the prescription costs were in line with what would be charged anywhere. Overall I would highly recommend this place for your pet. Everyone was very friendly and the service great. Now we have a healthy dog again and the peace of mind that she didn't lose her vision because we waited to get her to a vet. I hope this helps.
