Dr. Durante and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. When we thought our dog was bitten by an opossum, Dr. Durante examined him and gave us advice and rabies/other warning signs to look for. We also take our dog there for his annual shots. No problem whatsoever, other than the Rt. 31 contruction taking place out front. That, however, is minor and is scheduled to be completed in the near future. I recommend him. With respect to the bad ratings below, I love how they remain anonymous. They must be competitors.

Dr. Durante is a great vet and has a great staff. We had an injured animal on a Saturday morning - he saw us right away. Gave excellent care - showed us exactly where the injury was and took care of it. Gave us detailed information on how to care for our injured pet.

Dr. Durante and his staff are miracle workers. I've tried many other vets in the area but when I found him I stopped looking. His prices are great, his work is great, and his knowledge of exotics is the best I've found, besides the hour+ drive to Animal 911. He's been the family vet for many ferrets in my care, leopard geckos, and just got a bearded dragon that will be going to see him soon..I recommend him to all my family and friends and they love him too. You shouldn't ever have doubts about your vet and leaving your animals in his/her care, with Dr. Durante you won't.

I would not recommend Algonquin animal clinic. I had a very poor experience there when my cat had a bladder infection. This started last Thanksgiving, I was given antibiotics to treat the infection. That cleared it up but it came back a month or so later. Second round of Antibiotics. Now it's been another month and still no improvment. So far I've invested roughly $400.00 to get this bladder infection taken care of. Each time I went to the office to drop off a sample or pick up more medicine, I felt like I was not important. Leslie at the font desk was nice enough but not very knowledgeable, and unable to answer any of my questions. I was frustrated because I had spent so much money to treat something that seems to be a fairly common ailment. I have since taken my cat to Randall Road Animal Clinic. They ran some tests and found the source of her bladder infection (crystals in her bladder) and now she's finally back to her old self after months of dealing with a painful infection, no thanks to the this vet who didn't seem too concerned with her health rather than draining my bank account.
