Would just like to say Dr. Miller and her staff are the most compassionate, professional, amazing dedicated animal lovers you will ever meet. I have personally had her take care of all of our pets like Lucky our kitten where the mother was killed and so we had to feed it and hope it would survive and even she didn't think all that she tried it would make it and he is 13 yrs now. And a huge little boy. She took endless care of my wheezy who had asthma allergies and had to see her once a month and more often toward the end of his 12 years. The most beloved cat I have owned and even she cried with me and told me I was doing the right thing and so did her other staff cry because they all loved to see us and take care of us any time we needed her. Then Isabelle who developed sudden cancer. And now our new puppy Maggie. You will never find a more faithful loving vet. This comment is in reply to the previous comment by Ms. Mango. First let me say you have my sympathies for the loss of your dog. As a fellow pet owner, I know that letting our faithful friends go is never easy. That being said, I would be remiss to let your account of Dr. Miller's behavior pass as truth to people who don't know her. You yourself state that your dog was extremely ill, a fact which I am sure was not lost on Dr. Miller and was most likely made clear to you when you brought him in and discussed treatment options. Due to her unbridled compassion for animals, Dr. Miller often attempts to treat "long shot" cases in the hopes that she can help them. I have personally watched her patch together animals that I thought had no chance of making it, including several of my own pets. As to your dog not being seen throughout the night, I am positive this was not the case. Dr. Miller never sleeps a full night. In fact, she rarely sleeps more than a few consecutive hours, a trait which I am sure bodes poorly for her health but allows for a level of care and attention for the animals at her clinic that would be difficult to find outside of a dedicated intensive care hospital. I know this because I have experienced it first-hand: I am her son. Dr. Miller is an extremely capable and competent veterinarian and a very compassionate person, which is why if you were to walk into her clinic with another "extremely ill" animal in the middle of the night she would still consent to treating it even after your hurtful words. Again, I am sorry for the loss of your four-legged friend. For my own selfish reasons, I certainly hope you do seek veterinary care elsewhere. -Kyle Miller

I am a native of the area but live in Arizona. While back on a visit - my Lab had developed a large mass. Miller Vet Service came highly recommended by a few friends in the area so I took him there only to find out the cost was VERY REASONABLE, the service was EXCELLENT and everyone truly cares about you and your pet! I am a licensed wildlife rehabber, do golden retriever rescue with LoveaGolden, on the board of Just Animals Shelter, and a licensed Humane Investigator with IDA - I work with MANY vets and I have yet to meet a team like Miller Vet. I have Miller's for boarding both my dogs several times. I ahve also referred friends and they have had a great experience there also. The staff are friendly and really care about your animals. My Golden Retriever really like going there!
