I feel this is the best clinic to take your cat! Let me tell you my cat is a finicky eater and he's even allergic to almost all the food that you can feed. The assistants and vets at the clinic handled him with the utmost care and treated him as their own. Environment here is quite friendly and it puts you at ease quickly enough. This was true for both my pet and me. After a thorough check up, they gave him medicine that has cleared up the allergies. They have also given prescription food, which my cat actually likes (wonder of wonders, if you know him as I do!). These vets are surely the STARS for me!
The doctor at Aurora Cat Clinic was caring and even built up a rapport with my cat quickly! This is surely news because he is a certified recluse who doesn't like strangers. The good doctor was thorough in her exam style and even went extra lengths to examine his heart and belly. Once my cat went under the exam room sink and she helped me to retrieve it! I am also all praise for the tech staff here. They clipped nails and even cleaned the butt (which of course is not an easy task!) and what's more, they did it FREE! I feel that making appointment at the clinic is quite easy and so is the parking. The waiting room environment here was warm especially because of the presence of other cats. They even offered me free toy catnip! So, what more could I ask!
this clinic is close to my house and so I've considered going there several times. Last year we went to the clinic to inquire about getting some special cat food. We had recently moved to the area and didn't have a vet (yet) that could provide us with the Purina food. The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude to my husband and so he left. Fast forward 1 year - we needed treatment for our kitty and once again thought of the clinic for it's convenience. Prior to dropping our cat off my husband stopped in so he could discuss our cat's issue before making the appointment. It was 8:09 am, the receptionist was in the building and when my husband began to ask her questions she interrupted him and said "We aren't open yet-come back later". He was flabbergasted that she wouldn't even take the time to talk with him. He didn't even have our cat with him! Needless to say, it was the same receptionist that he had experienced earlier. We initially thought our first experience was a fluke, but now we are convinced this clinic has a big problem -- it's the RECEPTIONIST. From what I've read in other posts she has been a major complaint from poor treatment to animals to rude behavior to customers. The vet might be great, but you are only as good as your staff. I don't want my precious kitty to go near this clinic. Looks like we will take our business elsewhere.
My cats go here. Both my husband and I like the doctors and staff. The pricing and care have always been good. Now that they have opened a dog clinic we are going to bring our dog too. Very happy with this clinic.
I couldn't live with a clean conscience if I didn't warn owners - Be extremely cautious when bringing your animals to Dr. Bajwa. He definitely prefers cats over dogs and even then, it depends on the day. I worked there for a month before he told me I was over qualified. This doctor can be a good doctor... depending on the day. You never know what kind of treatment your animal will receive. One day he is feeling generous and will charge you near nothing for services that other hospitals will change an arm & a leg for. He seems to appreciate bartering as payment. One day however, while worried about the cost of his new Dog Clinic, what was a routine neuter & annual vaccine turned into an animal channel nightmare! He charged $300 more that promised at drop off and didn't bother to fully anesthetize the dogs while neutering them. I watched these two puppies behaviors change dramatically and I worry that they will never be the same dogs as before the owner brought them it. The receptionist has worked for him for 7 years and they have an established routine that doesn't allow for teaching any new people. I don't think opening a new clinic was a good idea as they are way over their head with business that frankly, they just cannot handle.
