Was quoted a price if $50 for first kitten visit, was told it would include 1st vaccination, worming treatment, and exam. The vet decided not to do the vaccinations, the only service that took place was worming treatment. I was still charged $50, and am being told I would still have to pay an additional fee in 2 weeks for vaccinations. I asked to speak to someone in charge and was told I will not be contacted by that person until next week.

I have brought two of my pets to Belleville Animal Clinic, and I may move all our animals' care to them. They first treated one of our guinea pigs because our other vet only treats cats and dogs. The vet was gentle and thorough in examining our baby pig and had her back on the road to health in no time. Then this morning, our cat's tail was injured. Our other vet does not have Saturday appointments, but I knew BAC did. My husband called the vet and I took the cat right in -- no appointment, but they squeezed me in. She has an abscess, which was diagnosed and treated promptly (and which greatly relieved me since I was afraid she'd broken it). All in all, they've been very understanding, kind and willing to work to get your animals taken care of. Is it the latest of everything and sparkly new? No. Does that matter if the vet is knowledgeable, capable and caring? Not to me. They've taken good care of our family's pets, and we're appreciative.

The whole place is DESPERATELY in need of a MAJOR renovation! Lobby is filthy, front desk area looked dirty,cluttered and unorganized, outdated decor, water stained ceiling and grungy floors. Exam rooms are TINY, NO chairs, dirt/dust was visible on counter where instruments were laying that were used to examine animals(obviously used numerous times without cleaning), whole interior needs a GOOD scrub down and paint job. Had issues from the moment I walked in- staff was unfriendly, ignored customers to watch TV, waited 30 minutes PAST my scheduled appointment time before I even got into exam room, THEN took forever to see vet. No one seemed like they knew what was going on.The front desk staff were all teenaged/college age kids, who could not even answer simple questions, in the end they had to call the clinic manager for an answer, after waiting more than 10 minutes for her to call back and she NEVER did call back, walked out with no intention of ever going back! Prices were VERY high, definitely not worth it because my pet did not get quality care and I got pat answers that did nothing to resolve the problems. Don t waste your time or money on this dump, it s been in business a long time and looks like they haven t done any improvements since the day it opened ( to the building or the way it is managed)! They definitely need new management and training program for their staff because I have talked to a lot of people who used to go there but said that it s really gone down hill since the previous owners. I ended up going to Lashley s and my pet s issue was diagnosed and treated in one visit!

My poor dog's face was swollen up around his eye this morning, who knows what he got into. Called and got right in at 8:30AM. Dr. Lehde saw my dog, and I was very impressed with his knowledge and how he thoroughly, but gently examined him. The visit felt personal, and that Dr. Lehde really cares about what he's doing. Thank You!

Very friendly , kind, compassionate and always eager to help. The veterinarians are top notch and compassionate. I have been a client for years and would not take my animals anywhere else. I don't know what March 2, 2011's problem was but everyone I know takes their beloved animals to BAC.
