I brought my kitty in thru paws to have her spayed as she was a stray and my income is tight. Apparently i missed the box where you can pay additionally for pain meds, which i had no problem doing. When i told them this and my kitty was half groggy from surgery, the vet came out grabbed her by her scruff and yanked her half out of the carrier to give her some. Apparently low cost means low compassion

Great service and staff! At this point, we've had twenty feral cats neutered or spayed there. They've gotten their vaccinations as well. PAWS (Rockford, IL) subsidizes services for ferals and we appreciate that as well. As another rater said: "Great Vet with Great Service!"

We were able to get our German Shepard "Jerry" in right away. He loves Dr. Probst and the entire staff is very helpful. If you knew how much of a nightmare it is taking Jerry anywhere else you would understand our surprise. The Doctor and staff care about each individual patient and give excellent care! We have two dogs and a cat and love them very much, we would not take them anywhere else. Thank goodness we found such a great doctor for our animals. If you want outstanding treatment for your animals, we highly recommend Belvidere Family Pet Clinic!

Very personable, and more importantly, knowledgeable staff. Exceptional service at a more than fair price! We no longer live in Belvidere but continue to travel for both of our dogs veterinary needs.
