We take both our dogs to Lincoln Park Dog & Cat and have always had a wonderful experience. We have a 9-year old mix and a golden retriever puppy. When we got the puppy and took him for his "well-puppy exam" Dr. Post spent over 30 minutes going over all the ins and outs of puppyhood and what to expect. What is normal, what isn’t normal...even though we already had a dog. Drs. and technicians are very thorough and we always leave feeling well taken care of. Staff is very friendly as well.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Ferraro 1995 and I will never go anywhere else. The doctor is so informative and good with everyone. In the years I've been seeing Dr. Ferraro of course some of my pets have passed away from old age and without fail, I always received sympathy cards from the staff even one with fur and paw prints from my cat. The staff is beyond wonderful and so emphatic. Dr. Ferraro actually saved 2 of my dogs from dying. How do you thank someone for that? She is incredible not just as a doctor but as a human being. You will always know your pets are in good hands with Lincoln Park Dog & Cat Clinic.

My dogs love the attention they get from everyone there and are always happy to keep coming back. I love knowing I'm getting great care at a very reasonable price.

We took our cat here a few years ago because he was acting a little weird and we were concerned something was going on. After an X-Ray they had told us that there was water accumulated around his heart. They said that it wasn't good but what they could do was drain the fluid around his heart to relieve the pressure. After looking at the X-Rays it seemed the logical thing to do to help him. We took our precious beautiful Fishie home that night thinking that we helped him. We got home, ordered delivery and thought that everything was ok. Then all of the sudden Fishie started gagging and peeing uncontrollably all over himself and on the floor as he struggled from room to room as we followed him around talking to him and trying to comfort him. My baby died right in front of me, in my bedroom on the floor as I laid with him crying. We hurried and took him to the 24 hour emergency veterinary clinic on Elston (these guys are great by the way) and after examining our cat and looking at the X-Rays we provided the doctor said that our loved one had an enlarged heart and not water around the heart. So what they did was puncture our babies heart and killed him due to gross negligence and lack of experience. I will never forgive you for this. I was so heart broken I literally called off work for a week. He meant so much to me and my wife and was the most purist innocent of beings in this messed up world. I couldn't even go back to get my money back is how bad this hurt. This was the worst incompetent experience I've ever had in my 41 years of having dogs and cats. I do not recommend these people and I will never forgive you for taking my Fishie away. The emergency clinic on Elston called the "hospital" the next day and told them what they had done. They called and left a message apologizing. They didn't even have the courtesy to say "hey, were sending your money back" , not that it's about the money. But you would think as a human being you would automatically do that. I'm finally over it now but losing him changed my life. You have no idea how special of a creature he was, He was so kind and gentle and just loved to play. We called it carpet love. He would drag himself around the carpet while we tapped his butt and petted him. I'm crying right now writing this. I miss you so much.

This place is NOT closed. Been taking my cats here for 16 years. Staff is great. Prices are reasonable.
