Thanks once again for taking such good care of Arthur. We had nearly 15 wonderful years with him, our much loved and sometimes challenging cat. It’s hard to believe that it was so long ago that we first brought him into this office. This shy guy of precarious health. They have kept him healthy, happy and enjoying his life well into his senior years. We appreciate all they have done for Arthur (15 years old), Cyrano (14 years old) and Puccini (6 years old).

I moved here from Portland almost a year ago. I've heard from long time residents how much Logan Square has changed over the past 10 years and I can see what they’re referring to. In between the new restaurants and breweries, this animal hospital caught my eye knowing that I would need a new vet here. I jumped online and saw a decent set of reviews. I can say with 100% certainty that the online reviews just do not give this place the justice it deserves. First of all, the price – wow. I was expecting at least a few hundred bucks on my first visit but it was less than a hundred. Then, Dr. Basran called me the day after to see how my pet was doing. I was shocked in a good way because I've never had a Dr. call me for something relatively routine. I can tell that this place is old school in that they do things with a simple, direct phone call vs. emails/letter/texts. It’s honestly refreshing. I will continue to go here without pause.

I was first introduced to Logan Square Animal Hospital after flipping through my Yellow Pages in a frantic state of mind due to my dog’s condition worsening sharply around 9p. Yes, Yellow Pages so I’m talking mid 90’s. I called Logan Square Animal Hospital and was able to talk to Dr. Basran immediately. He gave me his opinion and advice and he’s been my vet ever since. I asked a few years later how did he pick up the phone at 9p when the hospital closes at 7p. He told me he transfers all calls to his home phone so he can answer emergency calls after hours. I was taken aback. Not many professionals allow their work to intrude on personal time but Dr. B did and still does. I’m beholden to Logan Square Animal Hospital.

I had an emergency last month when my dog vomited a foreign substance at 8 pm. I jumped online and found Logan Square Animal Hospital and gave them a call even though they closed at 7 pm. Somehow, I got a hold of Dr. Basran who walked me through what was happening and said he would be at Logan Square at 6:30 am if I wanted to see him at that time. I got there at 6:35 am and he was there opening the front door just for me. He saw my dog, admitted him, took an x ray and we found exactly what was going on at a cost that was not excessive compared to other vets I've been to. I cannot thank Dr. Basran and his staff enough.

Dr. Basran and his staff have always held the best interests of my dog and my pocketbook at heart. I do not hesitate at all to call or come in for any issue that may pop up all the way from vaccinations to a recent ACL surgery. I know I would be stuck with tough decisions regarding the quality of health care I could provide to my dog from a financial sense without the support of Dr. Basran.
