I recently brought my very ill cat to McKillip Animal Hospital. From the minute I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The vet techs, doctors and other staff members have been great since the moment I met them. They are thorough, polite and communicate really well. As someone who is not knowledgeable of medical terminology, I feel like I have been able to keep up to speed on the progress of my cat. Dr. Teiber has been my cat's primary physician and she has been wonderful. She is always willing to talk to me whether I call or am there in person. Dr. Teiber makes sure that I understand what's going on and has shown tremendous care when working with my "baby". Dr. Glater, Dr. Brizgys, Dr. Bender and Dr. Larson have all been able to see my cat and help keep me updated. Their communication as a team has really helped me keep at ease knowing that everyone at the hospital understand his case. Alexa, Kayla, Elaine and Patty have also been extraordinarily helpful; Always answering questions, showing compassion and helping me through each obstacle. I am so glad that brought my cat to McKillip Animal Hospital and HIGHLY recommend them.

Thanks to the really rude, argumentative and inconsiderate front desk "girl", it saves me from ever bringing my pets here. I certainly dodged a bullet there. Good job hiring incompetent front desk people that are supposed to be the face of your clinic. I was actually looking for a new vet, but not this one.

The folks at McKillip have been great. They were extremely supportive when having to make some tough decisions as our older dog approached the end, and always courteous when working with our younger guy. Only positive experiences.

These guys have taken great care of my two cats. Recently my cats got colds, and I asked a million questions. The doctor was super patient with me, printed off some materials, and answered all of my questions. When one of my cats recently went in for surgery, they took great care of him, and clearly had played with him while he was staying overnight for observation. I called to check in the next day and they said, "I'm surprised he's still here - We're all ready to kidnap him!" I love these doctors and staff. They treat my pets like their own.

We won't be going back after repeated poor staff interactions and misleading pricing. Beware of this clinic if you can't afford to pay for all of the "extras," of which when quoted, their prices jump about 50%. (Of which they do not provide estimates.) Front desk staff is immature, albeit young, and doesn't interact with customers very well. Actual Doctors are nice, but pricing is WAY too high for comparable services. When questioned, desk staff excuse was "Find another vet in Lincoln Park with lower prices." In other words: they are priced against their competition in lieu of actual cost to do the procedure. This is an unethical business model and takes advantage of those in need of a qualified veterinarian. Our family already drives 15 miles to get grooming done so we don't have to pay for the Lincoln Park pricing, which not all families can afford. I guess we need to start driving out of the area to find a more affordable vet. This facility also has no parking. After 5 years, the entire life of our dog, we won't be going back. He won't care.
