I chose to come to this Animal Hospital with my cat Melvin based on their great reviews on google, and we certainly were not disappointed. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and clearly know how to handle animals, even when they're stressed out by a new/weird environment. Dr. Ojala was a pleasure to meet. She performed surgery on Melvin with no issues, and the followup by the staff at South Loop Animal Hospital was very thoughtful. Thank you again so much for taking such great care of my old man cat, Melvin!!

This animal hospital is the best I've gone to! Over a year ago, I moved to Chicago and found the South Loop Animal Hospital online. My dog has been there a few times now and he has a great experience every time. The staff are so nice and helpful. Both of the vets are super thorough and kind as well! Their facility is top notch and your pet's health is truly their priority. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who was looking to give their pet the best care!

I brought my new puppy in for a well visit and the staff at south loop animal hospital was great! They answered all of my questions patiently, they gave me a ton of information, and Dr. Robert Plourde is wonderful! I also love that there is a patient portal for your animal. We are very happy with south loop animal hospital as our vet.

I am very happy with this place and so is my dog:) Awesome location close to my home plus the staff takes time to thoroughly explain everyting and to answer all my questions. Since my first time at South Loop Animal Hospital we fall in love with this place. Dr Sanchez is very informative, and professional. We love Dr. Sanchez and his team, we drive from the suburbs to see him! The office staff and techs are so friendly to me and caring to my dog. We have been patients of Dr. Sanchez' for almost 8 years and he has helped us through some very challenging times. He takes his time with us and thoroughly explains all options in a patient friendly manner. He always tries to give us the most cost effective option and the prices are very fair for the excellent care we receive. My dog had to have a tumor removed this winter and he did an amazing job with the surgery, everyone kept telling me it was going to come back but it has been 8 months and there is no sign of it and I believe this is due to his skill as a surgeon. Most importantly I know that he cares for my dog, he says Hi to her first and treats her as if she is his only patient event though he is very busy. I cannot say enough good things about South Loop Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Sanchez.
