I recently took my cat to see Dr. Anthony there. She was not only very professionall, but very sweet to my cat. She did a very thorough exam and made some recommendations. It was a little bit of sticker shock for me, but after researching other downtown Chicago veterinary practices, they proved to be very decently priced. I only did what I wanted to and they didn't push services on me that I couldn't afford, or didn't want. She just told me what was best for my cat, and I really appreciated that. Veterinary bills are pricy anywhere you go, but at least this place I feel comfortable and confident that my cat is getting the best of care :)

I agree with the other comments. My cat gets a recurring eye infection (as diagnosed by a vet at the City Cat Doctor). It cost me a considerable amount to get that diagnosis and the eye drops were not cheap either. Nevertheless, when I called again a short time later to get a refill on the same prescription, they claimed they had no record of it and that I would have to come in . . . again. I am not going back to this place because they are going to work every single visit for all it is worth and then some.
