They made me wait for about an hour before I could see the vet. The people here are more interested in selling you their pet wellness plans rather than provide service in a timely and efficient manner. Never again will I bring my pet here.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE ---- I went to the Darien, IL location and was obnoxiously and aggressively pursued to be sold their outrageously expensive "pet plan" that was a one time $45 fee and a monthly $20 fee, I said no thank you and that I was there simply because my cat's ear was hurting her, but they kept pushing it. Then I found out there was an office visit fee plus an ear exam fee which doesn't include doing a culture or any further examination, plus an medical waste fee which already put us up to a ridiculous $200 fee when I said no thank you and declined their services the manager Steve aggressively demanded we pay the office visit fee EVEN THOUGH WE DIDNT RECEIVE ANY TYPE OF SERVICE. When I said I refused to pay it he aggressively argued with me about how they had to clean the room for us to be in it. When I told him they are taking advantage of their customers he implied that it's easy to do so because people care for their pets. It was the most disgusting, unprofessional service/care I have ever received. They are taking advantage of pet owners. It cost less to get my cat spayed than a simple visit for an ear infection.

have taken dog here for 10 years - each visit is like our first, with new Doctors and assistants on each visit. we expect and hope dog is receiving good care, but worry the high staff turnover is a red flag.

I have been with this clinic for over 1 year now. I am very pleased with the highly qualified staff and caring Doctors. I have a high energy, large dog, quite a handful. I am not embarrased to bring him in because I always feel welcome here. I am glad I found them, I just love them.

Hands down the worst vet you can go to. If the life and well being of your animal concerns you, DON'T GO HERE! Don't even look at it, avoid banfield as best as you can. I had a 3 year old boxer male, perfectly healthy, and was a great dog. He wasn't feeling to good one day, so I took him to banfield. First I had to wait HOURS before I could talk to a vet, just like every time I went there. They couldn't find what was wrong with him, and yet they gave him a shot of antibiotics. Most vets would hold the animal for at least half an hour after giving antibiotics, banfield didn't. On the way home, my dog passed out and died, as he was most likely allergic to the poison they gave him. Banfield thought that this was just a coincidence, and still demanded $300 from me! AMAZING! So I did some research, and found out that I was one of many who got ripped off by banfield. Banfield is in fact widely regarded as the worst and lowest rated veterinarian service you can go to. There should be no reason why you should even consider banfield Do research, and pick a veterinarian service that treats it's customers, and animals with respect. If you had bad experiences with banfield; please speak up! Only YOU can help prevent the malpractice and thievery that banfield practices. Only YOU can help put places like this out of business, and in the hell hole they belong in
