I have taken my dog to Deerfield Animal Hospital for years and have had nothing but good experiences. They are knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. We treat our dog as a member of the family and so do they. I have complete trust in them and would recommend them to anyone.

My visits feel more like a trip to a used car lot than a trip to the veterinarian; they are constantly inviting me to use more of their services throughout the visit. Two years ago they instituted a $95 sitting fee on top of the $50 dollar physical exam fee. Then there are the lab fees and vaccinations, which seem to increase in number every year. Over the last two years, my wellness visits (routine testing and vaccination) have been $550 on average for a healthy 25lb dog, age 7. The veterinarian I see every year is friendly enough, but the cost seems high for a routine visit.
