We chose to switch to Elburn Animal Hospital because of their holistic approach to Vet care. In addition to standard vet practices they offer chiro and acupuncture, and Dr. Cechner practices TCM. We attribute the longevity of our pets, Brina (Rottweiler ~12 yrs.) and Eddie (Tabby Cat ~16 yrs) to the kind thoughtful care of the doctors and staff at Elburn Animal Hospital.

They have been the most considerate staff we have ever dealt with. I tell everyone to go there. Dr Cechner is the best, she is so passionate about what she does, such a nice feeling that your pet is getting the best care. The staff is wonderful also. Thanks for your fantastic care!!!

We have taken our pets here for many years and have experienced loving care for all ! On several occasions they have gone above and beyond to help at no extra cost !

We have been with these people for 14 yrs now and they have been super for caring for our dogs. We had to put our Golden Retriever down 5 years ago now, due to cancer, after having a large tumor removed. He was floor ridden for a week prior to putting him down. I was giving him water through a straw and was using wee papers. Finally decided and made the difficult choice to put him down. Dr. Sue and crew came to the house came to the house late at night to put him down and carried him away in a stretcher and kept him until we decided what we were going to do with him. They were sweet, compassionate, you name it, they were it, just down right caring about the whole situation. And still are with our Collie/Huskie mix and Black Lab !

I have been going to Elburn Animal Hospital for 30 years now. Over the years we have lost some pets and their compassion and going above and beyond are outstanding. They are a small clinic who makes you feel like one of the family, I much prefer this to large, cold, and clinical. Dr. Cechner has an amazing amount of technical expertise and training for even the most exotic of pets.
