I was not too pleased with our adoption experience of a cat. We had our hearts set on one of the cats they had. We visited with the cat a couple times, and he had a great personality (like a Garfield). So we bring in our application a day later, and we were told that we would hear back from them in the next week possibly the same day. We stayed with him a bit longer and went home hoping for the best. We got a call later that day stating that he had already been adopted and paid for. They said that the people had been in several times to meet with him, and they had misplaced the paperwork. The person we met with the second time (Diane Gray) didn't bother to mention that the cat we were looking at was already adopted. We did not receive any apology over the phone, all they asked was if we were interested in any of their other cats, which we had already communicated with them that we weren't. Diane even asked us on the phone when she broke the news if we had submitted an application. We had given her one only hours earlier. She even asked if our current vet's number was on our application after we had seen her that afternoon. None of the other staff seemed to be aware that the cat we were looking at was already adopted. We were led astray, and what they did was wrong.

I am so very pleased with the excellent veterinary care we have received from Glendale Animal Hospital. My cats have been seen by both Dr. Bosco and Dr. Civello, and I can't say enough good things about both. They are patient, professional and very thorough about explaining options, expenses, procedures and risks. Dr. Civello and her staff were wonderful the night we learned our sweet kitten had to be euthanized. eta: We've been with GAH since we moved here in 2007 and will stay committed.
