The staff are efficient and there is no problem getting an appointment quickly if your pet is ill. The other reviewer is mystifying to me. I have met both vets with my dogs and they are the nicest, most caring people. Glensted Animal Hospital came highly recommended to me from a few people, one a dog trainer and the others neighbors. We had moved to the area a while ago and had been driving to our old vet 10 miles away. Finally decided to try Glensted and have been very happy with them. As far as prices, they are comparable with what I was paying at the old vet, so I wouldn't call that expensive.

I had went to this place due to a recommendation from my neighbor. I was new in town & really loved my old vet. I had given this place a few tries before deciding to go elsewhere. The staff at the reception counter always seem "too busy" to acknowledge me & weren't the warmest bunch of people. The prices were a bit steep and the couple of doctors that I did see just didn't have that mannerism that I prefer for my pets. What mannerism you may ask? The kind where you feel they really are animal lovers...where they greet your animal with petting & sweet talk. Just seemed a little institutionalized to me. I ended up taking another recommendation & took my pets to Mokena.

I don't know what the other user was thinking. He or she probably is hard to please and extremely ignorant. Some people will say anything to be a jerk. I have been going to Glensted my entire life and so has my father. Dr Campbell and dr Ammirati are the two best veterinarians in the Chicagoland area. They have perfected multiple surgical techniques and other clinics in the area call them for advice! They are very personable and truly care about the animals. They practice alternative care and are real animal lovers. They even take in strays. I love this place and can't recommend it enough!!!
