I recently found Ness Exotic Wellness Center when my turtle became sick. I thought that the service was excellent! The staff welcomed me and was very friendly. The vet was very nice and extremely knowledgable about turtles. She wanted to try the least invasion treatments first and they worked! I also loved the information that was provided to me about turtles, in general. This pet is new to the family, so I learned some things that I didn't know. The vet also provided notes that discussed everything she told me at the visit. I was afraid I would forget something and she assured me that she would provide detailed notes and it was! I'm glad I found a place to take my turtle if he needs medical assistance! Thank you!!!

Dr. Golan and her staff were awesome! They were very thorough with instructing me how to administer the recommended medications and explained to me the options, costs, and chances for my pet toad's survival. I have used Ness Exotic Wellness for the last 10 years. I have had birds and a guinea pig that the clinic has seen over the years. They balance the needs of the pet with the financial aspects of the owner, and have always been caring about us and our pets. They are always available for emergencies, and answer questions as best they can by phone. I believe we have seen every doctor there, from Dr. Ness to Dr. Nye (surgeon). All are very knowledgeable and have helped us from new pet checkups to getting a toe bitten off by another bird, to cremation services through the Darien Pet Cemetery. We highly recommend them, especially for "exotics' - pets other than standard cats and dogs, although they handle them as well.

My husband and I took our African Sulcata Tortoise there yesterday. They went out of their way first of all on the phone making the appointment, which was the same day. The staff is top notch, caring, considerate, etc. Dr. Golan is so very knowledgeable and wonderful, took all the time in the world for us to explain everything about what they were going to do to help our sick Heather. The staff was so fantastic, they handled our 26 pound tortoise like they did it on a daily basis. I cannot brag enough about the experience. Thanks a million! Oh and the price was reasonable to boot!

When I stepped into the hospital with my sick ferret, I was promptly greeted by the friendly staff and was able to see the doctor within a short time. Dr. Golan took excellent care of my ferret and he is on his way to recovery. Anyone with an exotic pet needs to take him or her to this hospital. The doctors here are way more knowledgable than doctors who see mostly cats or dogs and the service is top-notch.
