I bought a little Shih Tzu from a rescue shelter. After getting my little dog I found out she had some serious medical issues. I have had her for a year now and Dr Smith has listened and provided excellent medical treatment for her. She is finally a healthy and beautiful little dog--so devoted. Finding my little dog is a blessing from GOD but also a vet who listens and provides great care is a blessing from GOD!!! Thank you
I have been to three others in the area trying to find the right place to take my dogs, and this is by far the best. All of the staff is extremely nice, and Dr. Smith is wonderful. My pitbull was recently diagnosed with heart worm disease, even after being on a preventitive. I went in for his appointment to figure out how to treat it and was very worried because of all of the horror stories I had heard. Dr. Smith was very straight forward about what steps we needed to take. He has a very strict treatment plan that he follows and has had much success with it. Each time I checked out the receptionist gave me a sheet telling me what they did that day, and what to expect for the next appointment and also how much the vist was expected to cost (which was extremely close, if not exact each time). My dog can also be a handful at times, and all of the staff was excellent with him; he actually gets excited when we go in for check ups now. I am happy to say that his treatment went very well and that my experience was nothing like the horror stories you hear about heartworm treatment. He is very healthy and happy, and we look forward to having many more happy years with our big guy. Thank you to all of the staff, especially Dr. Smith.
This is a really great place. I called to make an appointment for my dog and they were able to get me in that day. The vet-techs are beyond friendly and kind. Also the atmosphere there is very stress free for the animal: my dog usually howls and shakes the entire trip to the vet and she hardly made a peep at Pet Wellness. The whole experience was quick and painless. I definitely recommend their clinic!
I had never been here until a week ago when my dachshund stopped eating and became really really sick. We had no IDEA what was wrong with her. She had been treated by another vet in town but didn't get any better. The receptionist got us in really fast and we found out after doing a couple of tests she had pancreatitis. I was really nervous about leaving her but the sweet nurses called me all the time and let me know how she was. I can't say enough about this place. I will NEVER take her anywhere else. Thanks Pet Wellness!!
