The people at the Mascoutah Animal Hospital are wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for somewhere to take your pet, I highly recommend this place.

They really care about your pets. And they give them really special treatment! They are truly understanding and want to help. They go out of their way to show your pet kindness and compassion!! Combined with all the knowledge and information they have and share with pet owners, I would not take my pet anywhere else.

they are dishonest. they will not explain things. prices change-with out notice and they are not competitive with prices online. they think everyone who walks in is loaded and doesn't care that some people can not get everything done at once. they ask you if you want something, and even if you tell them "no" explicitly, they conveniently forget and charge you anyway. hold on to your pocket book and shop around before going here.

After a multitude of visits to another area vet regarding urinary blockages with one of my cats, a friend recommended I take my cat to Mascoutah. After an elongated stay and a switch to prescription only diet, my cat's bounced back to his wonderful former self. If you're looking for a vet familiar with specialized diets for assorted conditions, this is it. The pricing is reasonable and the service is far better than that of the other vet I had been to.
