We've used County Line for years. Took a break from them for a while a few years ago, because it's a bit of a drive for us, but we could not approach the level of quality care that is offered at County Line. So, we came back. We've had three dogs during the time we've used County Line, and they have all received great care. Dr. Kilburn spends less time in the office these days, but I think one of my experiences with him a few years ago illustrates the type of tone you'll experience at this clinic: after our golden retriever blew out his ACL, I took him in for an evaluation. Dr. Kilburn gave me the diagnosis, then spent 45 minutes going over the nature of the injury and the treatment options available, using 3D models, photo illustrations, and x-rays. Heck, I've never had that experience with an MD! Most often we see Dr. Parvin for our day-to-day veterinary visits, and we've subsequently had another surgery performed by Dr. Selvaggio. Really, all are top notch--knowledgeable and caring. County Line Animal Hospital may not be the slickest, most high-tech office around, but it's imbued with a sense of caring professionalism. The vets and the staff love animals, and always make every effort to provide the best in care. A great veterinary clinic!

My wife, my mother, my step-mom and my in-laws have all been clients of County Line. Recently my wife and my in-laws have sought another clinic in the area. It is a shame, as it is in such a neat setting. I know they have been very happy with Dr. Parvin, and were very unpleasantly surprised to find that one of the physicians had abruptly left the practice. The facility is margainally clean, prices are on the far end of reasonable, and I got the feeling that customers tried to avoid using the physician that runs & owns the practice. Nonetheless, outcomes have always been good.

I have taken all three of my pets to this place, two dogs and one cat. I have found the reception staff to be extremely rude and the vets are not the friendliest either. I am looking for a new vet. I went here because of the location (close to home), however I would rather travel than take my pets here. When I have gone there, the receptionist ignores me rather than asks how she can help me. I had to put my cat down and was upset, there was no comfort from the staff. I am sure there are better places out there.

My wife Sherry and I have two poodles and they are family to us. Eva is 10 years old and Wrigley is 5.We had been going to a vet (chain) about 3 miles from our home for convenience. The vets changed over the years we didn't feel a connection. To make it worse, the staff was indifferent at best, and rude or uncaring at worst. The last straw was when we wanted to get a copy of prescription so we could get it filled elsewhere and the vet clinic made us feel like we were committing a crime. We decided to try a new vet and after checking out a few (so we wouldn't make the same mistake) we went to County Line Animal Hospital and we could not be happier with our decision. Dr. Poduska is knowledgeable, patient, friendly and genuinely compassionate towards our doggies and us. The staff is so friendly and caring. Dr. Richard Kilburn started the clinic years ago and is still there. He couldn't be nicer; no wonder the staff and Dr. Poduska are the best, because they were hired by the best.
