So I brought my dog here several years ago when he was a puppy. They had what seemed to be a great puppy wellness package. You sign up for what I thought was one year. They provide all needed vaccinations as well as neutering him. This seemed to go well. I had no problems with the veterinary staff here. My puppy did receive all the necessary treatment that was promised. The problem was that every time I brought him in for a wellness check of sorts, he would get kennel cough roughly 3-4 days later. I had to switch vets because my dogs was always sick after going here. This brings me to 3 years later. I am going through my bank statement and see a recurring charge that I'm not familiar with. I call the number linked to it and to my surprise I am still being charge for the package that I signed up for 4 years earlier. (I was under the impression that it was only for a year) I did call their office and the lady said that it says it in the fine print. She said there was not much they could do about it, but they could have a manager call. I guess that would be somewhat helpful. Not sure I would get a refund at all. So just be careful as to what you sign up for. Naperville Animal Hospital 1, Allison 0
We adopted kittens from the animal shelter and had the recommendation to bring them here. I am so pleased! The walk-in hours have been amazing and I never have to wait too long. The doctors and nurses are so willing to answer my questions so matter how silly they may be. Everyone treats our kittens as if they are their own.
My lab mix loves it there. He has allergies and various other issues. The vet's are all great. We have worked out all his problems and he is now a healthy, happy dog. The wellness plans are a great deal. Groomers are very good.
We brought Rosie in after we adopted her from 4 Paws 4 U 4 Ever in December of 2013. We had Dr. Winkler and she was very nice and gentle with our little girl. She was informative and took her time with us. We hope to see her again and do plan to return here.
Naperville Animal Hospital works very well with rescues and I have taken many foster dogs here. They provide walk-in service only, so be prepared to wait. As with anything, this has it's pro's and con's. Stop in at your convenience, but avoid weekends when you can, if you don't want to wait as long. There seems to be a high turnover rate with staff, including doctors, and therefore I doubt it possible to build an on going relationship with one vet who will know your pet's health history over the years. The medical care they provide has always been very good and they undoubtedly saved one of my foster dog's lives in an emergency situation. The fact that they are so supportive of local animal rescues says a lot (of positive things!) about their business.
