Wiggly Tails is a great place to leave your beloved dog. I have complete peace of mind when I drop Dakota off for daycare. She runs in like it's her home and comes home excited and exhausted. Everyone there truly loves dogs. Can not recommend this facility enough!
We love Wiggly Tails. Mack, our Australian Terrier, always comes home happy, but absolutely exhausted. I see him on the Webcam and he is either playing with other dogs his own size or following around whomever is on the playground (inside or out). I have recommended Wiggly Tails to many, many friends and will continue to do so! One side note... once when we dropped Mack off he became violently ill from something he had eaten at home. The Wiggly Tails staff notified us IMMEDIATELY. We were not in a position to return quickly, so they cared for him, calling us every hour to report his progress until we could get to him.
I've been taking my dog, Oliver, to Wiggly Tails for over a year and a half and I can't say enough good things. The staff takes great care of him, always follows through on their promises, and their grooming is excellent. Oliver is always happy when I drop him off and always looks great when pick him up, even when I have to board him for a few days. Keep up the great work!
I was NOT Impressed. Well they didn't lose my dog, but I wasn't very impressed with their service and the condition our dog was in after he had been there. My wife and I needed to board our 1yr old lab during the weekend of our wedding and then the following week for our honeymoon. We took our dog their for their required 'temperament test', which consisted of an a 3 page application and letting the pup run around with the other dogs for about 3-5 minutes to make sure he was friendly. They said he was good to go, so we left and brought him there for the weekend. When we got back he seemed tired (a good thing) but also had a small wound on his face that was just starting to heal (now a scar). Now I'm not naive, I realize dogs play, sometimes a little rough too, but my concern was none of the staff even noticed or addressed it with us when we came to get him. They simply took our money and handed over his leash and that was that. Anyway, we were home for a few days before we left again for our honeymoon and he slowly got back to his normal energy level before we had to drop him off again, so we figured he was fine and brought him back a few days later. This time he was there for 8 nights and upon our return home, we picked him up and again he was pretty tuckered out initially. Upon his pick up, again nothing was said to us about how he was for the stay, if he behaved well or looked like he felt okay or anything along those lines. They just took my credit card again and handed us his leash and a left over bone. When we got home we noticed he had developed an unproductive cough (usually a sign of kennel cough) and his eyes were producing some green gunk out of them (which my guess is that the pools they let the dogs play in are so dirty that he has some kind of infection in his eyes from playing in them). So now we have to take the dog to the vet, which will most likely cost us another $100-200 for the visit and meds to get him better on top of the $500 we spent boarding him in the first place. I'm sure Wiggly Tails has its success stories, it seems like our dog at least had fun socializing with the others, but for the money they charge I would expect them to spend more time making sure the facility is clean and paying more attention to all of the dogs and any incidents and reporting back to the owners. Lastly, the staff that was there during both pick ups was pretty uninterested in us or the dog. I'm sure it's not the owner but again, staff that seems uninterested in the whole process is probably staff that is also not interested in our dog while he is there, which isn't what we were looking for, especially for $50 a night. I would have rather burdened a friend and paid them that kind of money, at least I would know for sure they were paying close attention to our boy.
Our Golden Retriever's gone to Wiggly Tails daycare for more than two years now. Watchful and involved staff; expansive, secure facilities. Owners are personally engaged every day. So good to feel at ease about your dog's care, and then see your pet happy to get there and just as happy at day's end. Very watchful about all behaviors by your pet and all the others, and a report back if something's amiss. Good screening, too: need annual vet certification on all innoculations and canine diseases. A definite notch above all the other dog care places we've ever tried.
