I took my two dogs here for over 7 years, and was willing to pay their high prices because I considered Dr. Sherman a great vet. My issue was with the owner, Dr. Cidone. Long story short, she and her staff basically accused me of taking my dog's prescription (!!!) writing me a letter where she told me I "what I was trying to do was illegal and unethical" simply because I was trying to fill a perfectly legal prescription through them. My dog had just had blood work done at her vet in Minneapolis while she was staying with my mom, and Dr. Cidone wanted me to come in and have another appointment and blood work (several hundred dollars). My dog had multiple appointments over the last months and years with Petvets, and had been on the same medication for over a year at that time. I was going through a difficult time financially, and could not afford a second vet visit simply for them to confirm what everyone already knew. It was absolutely insane.

Dr Susan Shack and all the crew here are super folks who obviously care immensely about animals. Your dog or cat is in good hands here.

I can not say enough about the compassion and care that Dr. Michelle Sherman has for the pets she treats. After going to her, I realized my last vet was just "in it for the money" and had no idea what he was doing. Dr. Michelle Sherman is dedicated, kind, and determined to get at the root of the problem and she truly cares. I have never felt so confident in any vet as I am in her. She is the best!

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Jennifer Fry at Petvets - she is gentle, thorough, and caring. It's definitely worth the short drive out to Oak Park to know that my pups will be so well cared for!

They are good at there jobs but very pricey. You're better off going to the AWS they still do a great job but about $300 cheaper (at times!
