We just adopted a little kitten that still needed to be neutered. We received a Neuter Certificate from the Buddy Foundation and we made an appointment with Loving Care. We asked in advance about all the extra costs as we didn't want to be surprised with extra charges when we showed up., They told us, after consulting with other people working there, that there would be no extra charges. I guess you can guess where this is going: I arrived this morning at the clinic, and they started mentioning extra costs: blood work: $57 or so, some other charge: $30. Even after I repeatedly told them what had been promised on the phone, they kept telling me that these charges had to be paid. I walked out of there, and I'm never going back. This is some way to run a business: get people in with promises and than stick it to them (once they are inside) with extra charges. Disgraceful.
