Our dog had an allergic reaction to her shots she had earlier but her vet office was closed. Having the Plainfield animal pet emergency was the best. Very happy with the service and care given to our dog. Even though we drove a good ways it was worth it. They need more places like this because animals are like family we need to care for them too and. emergencies happen to them also.

I give this a 5 star rating, because we absolutely loved Dr. McNealy. We are new to Illinois, have not established a regular vet, but our cat needed immediate care over the weekend, so we drove to the closest emergency vet facility—Care Animal Emergency Services in Plainfield. We weren't overly impressed with the process (it was pretty standard ER service. Slow and lots of waiting.) but once Dr. McNealy came in, she was personable, friendly, very knowledgeable, and very kind and caring with our grumpy old cat. I was sad to find out that she wasn't available to be our regular vet, but I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Plainfield area needing an ER vet. Thanks Dr. McNealy!
