I have a 4 year of German Shepard who just loves going to the groomer, yeah I know, but she loves it. I can't recommend Plainfield veterinary clinic any higher, they are just wonderful people who really love our family.
My wife and I have brought our dogs to Plainfield Veterinary Clinic for over a decade. They always have the friendliest people that work there, up to and including the veterinarians themselves. You can tell that they actually care as if your pet was one of their family members. Our dogs over the years - Eddy, Oliver, Gracie, and Ruby - never minded going to Plainfield Vet. In fact, they looked forward to it because they knew they would be in great hands.
I had taken my puppy (a mini Doxie) in last year for her annual booster shot. The whole experience was awful from the beginning. The staff wasn't pleasant at all. The vet that had seen her was very loud and crass. His beside manner was not kind nor compassionate. He tried to give my puppy the nasal vaccine for kennel cough. He grabbed her head and had me hold her like a football. She was so freaked out by this, she urinated all over. He then proceeded to get the other type of injection vaccine for kennel cough. He grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, made her cry, and forcefully gave her the shot. She then ended up with a huge, painful lump between her shoulder blades where the injection site was for 2 weeks! I definitely will not be taking her back there again........
Our family has been with Plainfield Veterinary Clinic since 2006. It is hard to find a GOOD Vet that you can trust your family pet with and we were fortunate enough to find Dr. Blaso. His knowledge, compassion and persistence to ensure that our dogs are given the best care possible has given our family a level of confidence that words cannot explain. With his recent addition of Dr. Walsh to the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic, who we recently had the opportunity to engage with, all I can say is all bases are now covered. In addition to the doctors, their staff is absolutely wonderful!!! They exhibit the same care, concern and compassion to our dogs from the moment you walk in the door until your visit is complete. Plainfield Veterinary Clinic is our No. 1 choice for Animal Care.
The staff and Doctors at PVC really care about animals and their well being. They take the time to explain all the options and why one might be better than the other. They are also upfront about the cost of everything and include it in the treatment plan discussion. You can not go wrong taking your beloved pet here, they will be in great hands!
