I LOVE Dr. Stubblefield. He took SUCH good care of my Taiwan Mountain dog, Jack - who has SEVERE anxiety issues. He gave Jack something to calm him but not knock him out and this was the first COMPLETE work up Jack has gotten in the 3.5 years since I adopted him. All he cared about was Jack's well being and how Jack was handling being there. He gave me info I didnt have before about Jack's Prozac and recommended I take him off of it for fear of liver damage with prolonged use - the vets who prescribed the Prozac never told me that and he had been on it for 2 years! Dr. Stubblefield even invited me to come by with Jack any time for a visit so Jack could be there during a time when he wasnt being poked and prodded and could get used to being there. lol I also brought my big Boxer mix in to see the doctor because I am going to board both dogs with them and the dr wanted to meet Zeke and give him a check up before Zeke stayed there. He was great with Zeke as well. I completely trust Dr. Studdblefield and his assistant with my dogs both to care for them medically and to take care of them while I am away - I know my boys will be with people who have met them and know what they are getting into while watching them - and they are people I know really CARE about my dogs. I HIGHLY recommend Acre Hill vet.

A very close family friend had been going to this vet for almost a year trying to fix issues with his cat. They recently went to the other vet in town to get a second opinion. A few days ago though, his cat took a turn for the worse and he called Acre Hill for an emergency visit. The Dr. told him he needed to pick which vet he wants to use and refused to see the cat. My friend then rushed to the Paxton Clinic (the Rantoul location was not open yet) but the cat died on the way there. They discovered several issues with the cat that should have been diagnosed several months ago. He will not be going to Acre Hill for his other pets and nor will I. It is disgraceful to refuse emergency help to any animal, regardless of who or where the regular vet is and the cat could have been saved if he hadn't refused to help.
