I would highly recommend this place. The staff is beyond friendly, and extremely professional. I came in with all kinds of questions and left with all of them answered. I was even lucky enough to have one of the staff members take some pictures of my puppy that looked professionally done! My puppy and I love the place.

Dr. Jacobs, the vet technicians, and the reception staff are all amazing and welcoming. They will make you and your pet feel comfortable immediately once you walk in their door! My partner and I are first time kitten owners, and could not be more thrilled about our decision to bring our kittens here. The information provided before her surgery, updates the day of the procedure, and support during her recovery and physical therapy resulted in a dog on her way to resuming a very active and athletic schedule and owners thankful for her physical restoration and continued quality of life. My fiancé and I recently adopted a 2.5 month old mixed puppy, and needed to find a vet for him to continue his vaccinations and other routine care. Having first moved to Champaign not having a pet, we weren't sure where to go. After a lot of googling and review-reading, he and I thought we'd give SportsVet a try, and are more than overjoyed that we did! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was very welcoming and very attentive to what our puppy needed and will continue to need, as well as being very willing to answer any and all of our questions. SportsVet made us feel extremely confident in them and their dedication to making sure that all of their pets are well treated and taken care of, as well as their owners. One of the staff, Katie, even had her own dog behind the reception desk just chilling out! It was great and definitely the kind of thing we wanted to see; it made the vet seem more like a welcoming, family-style institution rather than a sterile, dehumanized hospital type vet. The place was very clean, too, while also maintaing the comforting and comfortable aspects. Our new puppy was more than comfortable there with every new person he encountered! As long as we live here, we will definitely keep going back to SportsVet! We would both recommend them to anyone and urge anyone reading this who may have been in our shoes with a new puppy googling where to take him for his care to definitely give SportsVet a shot! Sports Vet has been absolutely amazing every single time we've been here. The vet techs are always incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Jacobs is unfailingly happy, helpful, and reassuring. I got a puppy a few weeks ago, and everyone at the vet has been so kind and excited to see him that he doesn't even mind vet visits. That doesn't even mention that they're wonderfully efficient, clear, and always happy to help however they can. If you have a question, you can call and get an answer in only a few minutes, and they're just happy to have your business. As a student, their prices are exceptionally reasonable, and I know that my puppy is getting the best vet treatment in town. Seriously: go to Sports Vet. I want them to have a ton of customers, just because I love them so much and want them to do well.
