I have been going to Illiana for over a year and never had a problem with any of the doctors. Recently I dealt with a different vet than I usually deal with and to say the least Dr. Ascuncion is not knowledgeable and misdiagnosed my dog. I received an overrated explanation about a disease I have in depth knowledge about but I just wanted to know why it wasn't caught when I initially brought my dog to the vet. No explanation could be provided to me but it just happens. To me that is unacceptable and I was not put at ease more or less I feel as if everyone wanted to avoid our situation and not deal with us.. On top of all of that I was given a vet bill for 200.00 for something that I paid for when I originally brought the dog in and was told nothing was wrong! I am disappointed to say the least. I would keep going to the other vets in the practice but I would not recommend this vet in particular. The others get five stars for being thorough and knowing their stuff this vet was sub par.
