i called over there because my 16 1/2 dog wasn't eating for two days and also wouldn't drink water. well i called the vet and we were going to put him down. they said i would have to make a appointment back in the days when my moms other dog was going to pass they took her without a appointment. well after they said that they started to snotty with me that is the first time that they were mean on the phone my mom has been going over there for about 40 years. we took my old dog to another vet and they took us right away and checked him and they had to put him down his kidneys were failing and also he was going in and out of coma.

Love these vets!....I have 2 cats and 2 dogs who have been treated by every vet at Dupage Animal Hospital for 13 years. We love every vet we've seen there. I have one cat who has had 3 foreign body removal surgeries. Dr. Felt went out of her way to consult a behaviorist and help us find ways to stop the cat's distructive behavior. We also have a rescue dog who suffers from extreme anxiety. Dr. DiJiacomo works wonders with my dog when no one else can get hear him. My other cat becomes demonic when taken to the vet,and other vet clinics have had to muzzle him, but the vets at Dupage have never needed to. They truly understand animals and have always gone the extra mile to do whatever is necessary to care for my pets. i would never go anywhere else and highly recommend them!

Patient and professional........... My dog had a foot infection for about 3 months and I had been to 7 different vets. Nobody could figure out what was the matter. I finally came to this vet and they figured it out. He had a foreign body (big thorn) in his foot and it needed to be removed. They took the time to solve the problem that everyone else had overlooked. That was 9 years ago, I will take my 11 year no place else. He is a big dog but he is terribly afraid of the vet and they are gentle, kind and extremely patient with us everytime I go in. He gets skittish at the vet and it sometimes takes time to get him to cooperate. I love this place. If you love your animals I bring them here. At times I feel their rates are pretty high but you get what you pay for... Both "Mary" the assistant/receptionist and Dr. Mary Felt are excellent. It sometimes is hard to get an appointment but their care and attention to detail are worth waiting for....

I took my two male cats to this palce and they BOTH came out really bad, they messed the surgery up sooooo bad. The one cat had to stay over he was in such bad shape from the surgery. The other one came home but I think he shold have stayed over night too. Male cats should never be in as much pain as my cats were. The one cat that came home couldn't walk to get water even, for a few days. I would never take a animal to this place again.
