Shadow suddently went blind. I called my vet and asked what it could be. She said either cataracts or detached retinas and to take her to Eye Care asap. Turned out my little girl had two semi-detached retinas due to high blood pressure! They gave me a scrip for high blood pressure and told me to give her 1/4 pill every day until they were used up and to recheck with my regular vet (since she has a blood pressure m/c). The caring staff at Eye Care amazed me (and Shadow). Shadow was always a terror at the "normal" vet's offices; she was a docile pussycat as the staff was so kind to her. We both appreciate the care they gave to my normally sweet little girl!
