University Park Veterinary Hospital is in an extremely inconvenient location for us. I can think of two vets off the top of my head who are closer, but we were introduced to UPVH because of the generously discounted work they do with Pet Refuge. That was ten years ago and we have been coming back ever since. We don't have a particular favorite among the doctors; they're all good. We love the staff, too. Last year we came home with fewer doses of Revolution than we should have (we had opened the box at the clinic), and I phoned them about it saying we were two doses short. I half expected a little skepticism. On the contrary, the gal was about to suggest that I come in and pick them up, but seeing how far away we lived, she decided to mail them to us, hassle-free, no charge. The fees for a healthy pet check-up seem quite reasonable to us. We have a large family, three kids in college, so we watch every dime. But we can easily budget the annual check up for our two ornery Maine Coons.

AWFUL!!!! Do not take your pet to this facility if you are looking for compassionate care for your furry family member. The only thing you will get is a BIG bill and meds to take home with you. Since Dr. Murphy left, there is no reason to go here. Dr. Vogel will make you feel that you are wrong and he is right even when it is less than 24 hours of your pet's passing!!!!!! AWFUL!!!!!

We found Dr. Vogl when our dog had been mis-diagnosed at Roseland Animal Hospital. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vogl, he and the staff are very caring, and he's a very good doctor. We've also dealt with Dr. Murphy when he's been on vacation and she is also great. All in all a practice that I am very happy with, and that I always recommend to my friends for their pets. They are located close to Target, so the location is convenient, but it's the doctors and staff that make them very special.
