I have been going to this clinic since the late 60's. Vets have come and gone but the care has always been stellar!!!!!!! When I had to put my dog down 7 years ago they cried just as I did. MY vet, Dr. Amy Halaburt, is awesome!!! She goes above and beyond. She is always upfront answering questions about care and end of life decisions....never making me feel bad about what I decide. When I moved out of the area I looked locally for another vet but just was not comfortable having someone else care for my "kidz". So I make the 136 mile round trip every time. And I never regret it. Like Cheers..................everyone knows my name. :)

I took my tortious here for a eye infection and they did something to him now he has internal bleeding and is about to die.... horrifying place. Never bring your animals here, I wasent even allowed to see the vet.. lawsuit here I come

I have nothing but great things to say about Highland Animal Hospital. After visiting several different Vets around the area, I fortunately found Highland Animal Hospital. It is obvious that the Dr. cares for the well beings of all animals brought to her. The staff is very caring, the service is great, and overall, I strongly recommend them.

After moving around to several vets in the area it was recommended to me try Highland Animal Hosp. I could not have found a better, more caring vet in Dr. Anne DeGraff. The initial meeting of my pets, she sat on the floor with them, making them more comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. She is caring and conservative in her treatment. Most visits are for routine shots etc. but she handled a sick dog of mine with expert intellegent care and did not hesitate to refer us to a specialist when needed. In other words, she wanted my pet well and was not afraid to send my $ to someone else when necessary. Counter help could use a customer service class but don't let them sway your opinion of this place. They are not the ones with your pets.

Dr. Walker is the most fantastic vet.. his genuine care and concern for the pets and their owners is unparalleled. He performed a very complicated surgery on our large dog.Offered us the option of Purdue, but I felt more confident in his skills. Better sutures and incision area than Ive seen many MD's perform on humans. Amazing vet and person.
