Everyone here went above and beyond to provide my dog with the best care possible and so nice and caring. The place itself is so clean and well taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of emergency care for their pet or if you can't wait to see your own vet. It gives me comfort knowing that such great care is so close to my home if ever needed again for our dogs.
As a new owners of a puppy Maltese, when our puppy got sick we were a nervous wreck. Due to the hour our vet sent us here for an exam. They treated our puppy with love and compassion. The service was very fast, yet very complete. If you need to take your dog someplace in a hurry or late hour we would recommend this clinic to anyone who ask.
This is any easy review to write! This place is WONDERFUL!!! The facility is very clean and the employees are top notch! We had to take our 13 year old Herder type dog in at 11pm for fear that his front leg was going to snap as he was walking on it. We didn't know what happened to him, he just started to limp and then trying to walk on 3 legs when possible. We have stairs into and out of our home and with him weighing in at around 90 pounds there was no way I'd be able to carry him in and out of the house if he had to get a cast. As sad as it was, I was trying to prepare myself that he would not be coming home with us. It was horrible. I found out about this clinic by accident. As I was driving by about a week ago I noticed the sign and wondered when it opened and thought, good to know. Never did I dream we'd have to use it so soon! I called, gave the woman the information of what was going on and she said we could just bring him in and told me what the initial cost would be just for the exam. She asked when we thought we would be there and I told her about 15 minutes. It was so nice to have something close! The woman that took us into the exam room (tech?) was very calming to both my husband and I and our dog. She was very nice and explained it all to us. Soon the doctor came in and she was just as friendly and calming. They both were very gentle with our dog and he was not afraid of them at all and allowed them to do what they needed to do. Needless to say how relieved we were when the doctor said she didn't think his leg was broken and thought it was probably a sprain. We could do an x-ray to make sure, and we were told the cost involved with that before she did it. As the doctor said, no break to the leg! She even pulled up the x-ray to show us and then gave us a DVD of it too. She suggest an injection of a steriod with a mild pain killer and then some pills to take at home over the next couple of days...telling us the cost of both. We agreed to it and it was administered. While waiting for the pills and DVD there was a difference in our dog and he could put a little more weight on his leg without limping so badly. He wasn't trying to walk on only 3 legs anymore either. As for cost, it's an emergency clinic so it is more expensive than waiting to see your vet during normal business hours, but it's expected. The later it is the more cost it is; however, they are very upfront with you with the cost of everything BEFORE they do anything. Truthfully after I found out we didn't have to put him to sleep I was expecting the bill to be about $500 or so; however, it was less than that by a couple of hundred. Still not cheap, but so reassuring to be able to take him immediately instead of waiting until the morning...the fear of his leg snapping and causing him that much pain was too much to bear at that time of the night. It was well worth the cost. I will be letting people know how pleased I am with the facility and with the employees. It's nice to have a place to go to at that hour which is close to home! Thanks for the care for my dog and for us! You guys are great! :0)
