The vet is great but I had a 17 yo cat that was on his way out, took him in and she performed all sorts of blood work on him, gave me meds and vitamins and sent me on my way ($750). A week to the day I had to come back to put my cat down, I was charged and additional $100 for that.................I feel that a good vet would have prepared me for the inevitable and sent me home with a list of signs to watch for to know when it was time. I was extremely disappointed with this approach of false hope.

My baby girl had been sick for a very long time and nothing made her better. We had been to several different vets but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Some of these vets were downright bad and some were quite okay but I didn't feel that any of them ever did a thorough examination of her and her problems. Finally I brought her to the Cat Doctor and saw Dr John. By then my baby girl was skin and bones and had constant diarrhea and fever. Dr John did a thorough exam of my kitty, asked a lot of questions from me and ordered bloodwork. She was really what I've been looking for in a vet for my girl for a long time. Unfortunately I went there too late and my baby died only two days after our visit with Dr John. Her body just couldn't hold on any longer. I wish I would have gone to the Cat Doctor sooner. Maybe she'd still be here now. If your cat is experiencing serious illness please don't waste your time, money and your cat's health by going to any other vet. Go straight to the specialist. It may even save you money in the long run. I lost my baby three days ago and it hurts a lot. Don't do what I did to try to save money. It saved me nothing.
