I love this office! Staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. I have had pets my entire life and this is the first vet Ive had that talks to me like I'm a person and treats my pets as if they were their own. Any time I have a question no matter how silly it seems they all ways take the time to talk to me. I feel like they are giving me their full attention at each visit not rushing me out the door.
A clean, affordable place to get good care for my cats. Well worth a few extra minutes drive!
Just had the most horrible experience this morning. My older Boxer seemed to be in distress and I took her here for care as I have taken all of my pets here in the past for routine exams and vaccines. This morning, the vet on duty said my dog was in "agonizing pain" and was threatening to euthanize her and call animal control because we didn't get care. umm... Why did we come here in the first place??? She said the dog was "breathing from her stomach" then proceeds to lift the dog inappropriately, potentially causing her more pain, and THROWS her on the exam table. Bedside manner = FAIL. Professionalism = FAIL. They didn't provide any options for treatment or care and were just going to put my dog to sleep while in the meantime, mistreating her in her condition. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will be asking for the medical records for all my pets in the near future and changing vets. I will not have my pets, whom I love dearly and would do anything for, nor myself treated like this when I come to seek care and treatment for them. (published on behalf of D. Doss and B. Jones)
I moved from Broadripple to the Littleflower Neighborhood a few years ago and moved my pet care to Emerson Pet Clinic at that time. I have two dogs and we are all very happy with the affordable care Emerson Pet Clinic provides. I have noticed that my dogs' annual visits are less expensive than the Vet I used in Broadripple with all the same services. I couldn't ask for more.
I liked the staff. They were informative on the phone, cordial and very sympathetic. My pup fractured her foot in five places and being a smaller clinic there wasn't much they can do for her but referred me to places that could and told me of possible options for her. We waited a long while but I didn't mind. They were the most affordable given it was an emergency situation. The pain medication they gave us is working wonders to make my baby comfortable before we can get her in to a larger facility. The only reason I rated this good as opposed to excellent? It is a smaller place and they aren't ideal for surgical or orthopedic procedures.
