I was a new client when I brought my sick cat in a few days ago. The wait was a long one and the place is pretty dingy looking, but I can tell that they care tremendously about the well-being of animals. When they finally brought us back to see the vet, she got right to the point and discovered a very serious illness in my kitty. She consulted with another vet there for a second opinion (something I very much appreciated), but ultimately determined that there was nothing they could do there for her. She needed emergency care. They sent me to the VCA hospital on 86th and didn't charge me for the visit since there was nothing they could do for her and had little cash. That was so kind of them! Unfortunately, the VCA hospital had to euthanize my Freya, and I'm a very sad momma...
Not only did FACE provide high quality spay services for my kitten, they helped get her well from an up respiratory infection that she contracted before we rescued her from Animal Care and Control. They provide a valuable service keeping the pet population down and have helped lower euthanasia rates in Indy. Everyone should support the good work they are doing.
FACE is a great organization! I've had a dog fixed there and they are always helpful and understanding when I have questions. They also will work with people of any income level to ensure their pets are happy and healthy and fixed.
DON"T TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PET!!! I took my 8 month old puppy to be spayed this past week at faces. The following day i had to take her back in due to blood in her urine. I was told it was a uti gave her antibiotics and sent us our way. (ok fair enough) While i was there tho the vet was very unfriendly and seemed more annoyed with my dog than concerned and then tried to charge me for just touching my dogs leg... i had mentioned it bc she had been crying and limping on it since being spayed. Faces vet said it was just a sprain. Took her a REAL vet today and there is now something wrong with her leg.. NOW all the sudden she is growling and cowering at the vets office..... my dog has never shown this kind of behavior i am absolutely convinced they mistreated her in some way! (let me just add the first day i dropped her off for surgery she did NOT growl at any of the staff! It is clear to me that she had developed this behavior while she was at the clinic) DO NOT take your babies here! I wish i never had!
This took me perfectly where i needed to go i will use this always! Thank you so much
