I have two rescue cats that HATE going to the Vet. As a side note their "daddy" doesn't much care for the doctor's office either! Because nothing else had worked to avoid it, I had both cats front paws declawed this past Thursday. Having just moved to downtown Indianapolis, I used the reviews on Google and other sites to make my decision. I also called one other vet in the downtown area. Their estimate was $300 MORE for the two cats than Mass Ave. Animal Clinic. The staff at Mass Ave Animal Clinic is so friendly and professional. Ken saw me at my drop off visit and was very helpful in explaining the procedure and what to expect after I got my kitties home from surgery the next day. One of the doctors that I had spoken to when I first called to make the appointment was in the hall and talked with me as I was leaving. He was very friendly and reassuring. My kitties are home now and mending from their surgery. Both are rescue cats and were not happy to be at the vet's nor were they friendly with the staff at all. I appreciate so much the kindness and patience of the staff with my two cats. I know they were a couple of terrors to deal with the day before Halloween. :-) I do highly recommend this Clinic to anyone with cats or dogs that need a competent, very reasonably priced veterinarian for your special pets. This will be our Pet Clinic for at least as long as we reside in downtown Indy.

A completely abusive veterinary practice. I don't know what their order is but I am not going back. They take animals to another room to perform "their procedures" that they will vouch for. My cat was brought back from a blood draw soaked in blood and alcohol. The vet told me that once the test results were known, the vaccinations would be administered. The vet technician disagreed and told me she already vaccinated at the same time she drew blood, she would vouch for it. So in fact I paid for the tests and vaccinations with the only thing I knew was that my cat was a bloody soaked in alcohol mess when he was given back to me from wherever the vet technician was running to and from. They are weird, abusive, and defensive. Having an Eastern Art disorder is my opinion of the location.

The staff at Mass Ave are wonderful. They know me and my pets by name and take great care of us when we go in! I have asked for documents before and they are willing to send them via email. They were also happy to give me recommendations for boarding and day care. Even after moving to another area in Indianapolis, I still drive to Mass Ave for vet care!

I love this clinic. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. This office is convenient for me with regard to contact. I can call and I can email. I work hectic hours and the fact that I can get a quick response via email is fantastic. Awesome group and would recommend to anyone! Reasonable prices as well! Thanks for being an awesome, caring group of folks!

Mass Ave Animal Clinic is the best vet we have ever used. They are accommodating, reasonably priced, extremely personable, and very modern in their communications (which is helpful when you are a super busy person). Every person we have come in contact with has been wonderful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I never feel like we have been racked over the coals or pushed into anything we don't understand or don't want to do. We love them and, unless we move far away, will not go anywhere else.
