Worse than used car salesmen! The staff must really be pushed by Banfield to sell their policies. Go to your local vet first, it will save you money in the long run because you won't be paying for things you don't need. DON'T BUY THEIR B.S.

Liars, frauds, and scoundrels. We've taken our two dogs there for about a year and spent thousands of dollars without hesitation. We participated in their essentially mandatory insurance program (i.e. "Wellness Program"). Whatever. I'll pay it if our dogs are provided quality care. Recently, however, we were lied to, told we hadn't purchased medications we have regularly used for months, and informed our dog needed additional tests (which he's already had) before they could renew the medication. But they couldn't be bothered to see him or give him the tests today. So, we're left with a dog in need of care because Banfield is either: (A) too greedy or ; (B) too bureaucratic.

The people seemed nice enough. However, we had to listen repeatedly to their plans and they recommended a lot of various things that had nothing to do with what we brought my cat in for. In the end, they told us he has a tumor and it is going to be around 300$ just for the test to figure out if it is benign or malignant. When we told them we couldn't pay that much out of pocket upfront, they shot him up with an antibiotic, didn't bother to clean the infected area, slapped on some fees, and we still ended up paying over 100$ for our visit. Not only did they cause us extreme grief by telling us it was a tumor, but they also did virtually nothing about it. Our pet was only a prop for their advertisements. They also took him to the back just to give him the antibiotic shot.

Worst customer service and don't feel good about taking my dogs there at all. The prices are incredibly high and you have to listen to sales pitches for a variety of insurance plans and they always reccomend a variety of unnecessary products. They are about sales, not pet health and care. There are so many employees handling each dog and no communication between them. I got a call and had contact with multiple techs and the vet. Each time, there was a conflicting story regarding the health of my dogs. The vet told me one dog was perfectly healthy. Then the tech came out with $50 worth of antibiotics for her, which made no sense. Also, I filled out the drop off form indicating the services they needed. They were sent home without the heartworm preventative requested even though I had it clearly marked on the form that I needed it. I had also discussed it specifically with the front desk. After calling to let them know I didn't receive the preventative, they told me it was their mistake and to come pick it up. Once there, they told me it was not paid for. Not expecting to pay for it, I had not brought any money and had to return home, still without the heartworm meds. I called the vet directly to express my concerns about my experiences and she continuoisly cut me off and would not discuss my concerns. I did not call her with any hostility or wiexpectation of getting anything free and told her that right from the beginning. Yet she had no concern for the incredibly poor service and frustration I had experienced at this Banfield.

It may be the best pet hospital in the country. I swear. Fun atmosphere, surrounded by nice friendly people. I loved the doctors and prices are reasonable, also a lot of great suggestion for what to do. Sometimes they use a little too much medical mambo-jumbo and I have to google it to find out what they are talking about. I want a doctor that I can really interact with without getting a lecture and when I was there I was able to do just that. I will probably never go to another pet hospital since I am real comfortable and satisfied.
