Ridgeview Animal Hospital went completely above and beyond with my new puppy. The staff worked very hard to collect all of her previous medical records and were very kind to my puppy. Once she was groomed and caught up on her shots the doctor spent 30 minutes walking me through all the fundamentals of being a new pet owner. I've had multiple pets and never gotten such an extensive and relevant tour of being a new pet owner. I highly recommend this diamond in the rough for anyone looking for a personal experience and a real relationship with their vet.

Dr Stewart is great. Our dog is truly a lemon. We love him but he has had a hard time with his health. She works with us and I NEVER feel like she runs unnecessary tests and works to make things as cheap as possible and ALWAYS willing to explain things to us and offer other options. Tried to see a vet closer to our house in Lawrence but had to come back. The care is great!

I took a newly adopted dog here about two years ago. Charged me $25 for a general check up. No big deal there, but after listening to an hour long diatribe on what kind of food to feed a dog full of a bunch of mumbo jumbo, Dr. Deb insisted that she administer an ear cleaning with this "special" piece of hardware to look in her ears for over $225. And then afterwards, I should probably return for another one. I never went back. When I explained this to another vet, he said the issue with the ears was normal for the breed and all my dog needed was some ear drops whenever she appeared to be irritated by them. That ear drop bottle cost me less than $10. I understand that Dr. Deb had good intentions, but gouging me over $200 for a piece of hardware technology that looked impressive, but really didn't do anything was ridiculous.

Great staff, friendly and very knowledgeable. I have a rottweiler and many veterinarians are afraid of her - but Dr. Stuart and her staff made fast friends with her. She loves going there and seeing her buddies! When she was sick this summer they did the testing and x-rays necessary to find out what the problem was and make her healthy again. Their prices are very comparable to the other vets I have checked with and their staff is MUCH friendlier. They always have a smile and have been very helpful with any questions or problems I had with my dog. As far as I am concerned, Ridgeview Animal Hospital is the ONLY place I will take my pets!

I took my cat there and was totally taken advantage of. I was told over and over again that they thought it was something minor and the cost was going to be under $200 but by the time I left, they had charged me over $700. When they realized it was a more serious problem, they did not contact me to give me options- they just continued with surgery. Afer surgery they added to my bill without being honest with me about costs. I was totally misled- and my cat now has the same symptoms he had before surgery. My advice is to find a different vet.
