This is the best vet! All three of my dogs have been patients for over 5 years now. The doctor always makes himself available if your animal becomes sick, including after office hours. He once stepped out of a holiday party to answer my call! He takes a caring approach to every animal and truly has their best interest in mind. We have never had a problem grooming or boarding with this vet. My dogs always leave happy, healthy and looking beautiful!

Dr. Keffer has always given our dog great care. We have been taking our Lab. there for 3 years now. He has many years of experience and is always up front with us about any diagnosis or treatment. BVAH may be a little more expensive than other places, but do you shop around for the cheapest doctor when you get sick? If you concerned about the bill, ask upfront. I did, and they were happy to tell me what it was going to cost for treatment and medication.

I came in with a dog who could not stop limping, I knew she had to get some sort of surgery and I was ok with that since she was only 1 year old. Dr. Keffer diagnosed it was her knee cap, and performed the surgery. She has never limped since! I am truly grateful that my dog is back to being a normal dog again! He was very professional and explained EVERYTHING to me, so I felt very comfortable with the procedure. I would defintely recommend anyone to this facility whether it be for regular vet check ups or surgery. Dr. Keffer took out a Banfield receipt and explained to me everything my dog DIDN'T need that I was paying for on their plan. I was mortified. Things like shots if she gets in a lake (I have a POMERANIAN), she is never going into a lake. So if you are wanting a place that doesn't charge you for things your dog doesn't need, this is the place!
