I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have not lived in OP very long and I was looking for a reputable veterinary office to take care of my new furry baby. I picked them from google because they were so close. I have had nothing but a positive experience with this company. They genuinely care about me and my furry friend. They are so sweet and are very efficient. Dr. Endicott is so nice and will answer any and all questions you have no matter how silly they may be. I'm a first time furry parent, I don't know everything. I will continue to go to them for years to come and would refer them to anyone looking for a vet that cares. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for and their quality is above the rest. Love this place!
Be prepared to wait, just walked out after sitting 25 minutes in an exam room without seeing vet. I understand emergencies happen and things can run over, but communicate that to people and don't just leave them waiting. I guess they feel my time is worthless.
When my wife and I moved to Kansas from Georgia in 2009, we needed to find a family doctor for our toy poodle. Petworks is within walking distance of where we live and is the only vet I considered. Our toy poodle is gone but they are still our doctor of choice for our moyen poodle since he was a puppy and our recent shelter foster fail chihuahua/yorkie baby. The staff is professional, helpful, and keep our fuzzy babies in tip top race ready condition. As long as we live in the KC area, they will always be our doctor of choice. If you need a vet for your furry family member, this is the one for you. As a fan of Kansas State, it was a minor consideration that Dr. Callicott is a K-State graduate...:-)
We have gone to Pet works and Dr. Kent since our Maltese could be held in our one hand. Zoe the Dog has used all services they offer from boarding to shots and we have been pleased with the experience and the cost factors. I have always been told up front cost and expectations which have always been spot on. A good neighborhood vet with the animal's best interest at heart. Once we needed an emergency visit and it appeared that Dr Kent cleared his schedule to deal with our dog. He made sure she would survive and we were informed the whole process. 5 stars really is not giving due credit to this vet.
Dr. Callicott has been my pets' vet for 17 years. I recommend him whenever I can. He and his team are the most knowledgeable and most caring around. My dogs are my children and he takes the time to answer all of my questions and makes sure I understand everything so I can make informed choices for my pets' health. If you are looking for a great place to have your pets needs addressed I highly recommend Dr. Callicott and Petworks Veterinary Hospital.
