God Bless Westside Vet Clinic, Dr. Darren and his Father along with all the friendly, knowledgable, caring staff! 5 years ago my dog Ziggy developed a condition in which he has severe siezures everytime he would walk into a new unfamilar building. Before finding the Westside Vet Clinic we had a terrible time just trying to figure out what was going on with his siezures, let alone an annual check up. Due to his condition it seemed that no vet we went to was eager to help him at all, since upon walking in the door he would immidiately start convulsing in a siezure. If your pet is anything like ours he is very much apart of the family and we desperatly needed to find him the proper care. After only a very short phone call Dr. Darren offered to actually come out to the vehicle to give him a thorough check up and try to diagnose his condition all while avoiding the seizures. It has been 5 years since we first met the kind folks at Westside, since that time he has been seizure free and we are able to painlessly get his annual check up along with the minor suprise visits that comes with having an aging pet. Over the last few years we have had several issues come up in which Ziggy needed to see Dr. as soon as possible, without any hesitation Dr. would get us in to see him in a very timely manor AND always accomodates for our specific needs, even coming out to the vehicle each visit to avoid a siezure. Westside Vet Clinic has gone above and beyond to accomadate for our pets needs at an extremely affordable cost. I would not only recommend Westside Veterinary Clinic to everyone but after all the trouble we had with other vets in Salina that seem to care more about $$$ and their time frame rather than your pet, I would never go anywhere else! Westside should be everyone's choice of veterinary clinic in and around Salina, KS. They specialize in both small (dogs, cats, etc) and large (horses). They have come to our house at 3am when one our horses was colicking to administer shots and give advise on what to do, as well as taken extremely good care of our dog Dally and her immune deficiencies. When she got hit by a car and broke her leg, dislocated her hip, and had to have pins and wires and stitches and surgery, they were our choice of vet and you couldn't find a better one! If I ever break a bone, I might go to the vet before the hospital! Very satisfied!
