My partner and I have been seeing Dr. Bachman and staff every since he came to town. He is a superb doctor who shows you his wealth of knowledge and experience with every visit. They don't upcharge the heck out of you and just get down to brass tacks - taking care of your animals! Love the staff and especially love Norma Jean! If you want your animals to be treated like family go to FMA Animal hospital! :-)

I used these guys for boarding first and now use them as my primary vet. This is a small practice kind of tucked away even though they're a skip from the Plaza and Westport. Really like the friendly service, and was surprised at the prices. Am a newish pet owner so haven't really compared prices with other vets, but it felt like a good value. Rec!

I've found my new vet. As a lifetime pet owner in KC, I have been to more than a couple vets. FMA has the best prices I've found, and all the people working there had a great attitude. You can tell the people at FMA love their job. The vet I saw explained very clearly what was wrong with my lab, and set out a plan for me to follow to get him back feeling great. I'll be back for Dorsey's next round of vaccinations!

Great, caring vet. My old cat hurt her leg and could barely walk. The vets at FMA carefully examined her and determined she needed to change her diet so she'd get more fluid in her joints. A week later she was back to normal. FMA was so kind and a pleasant place to be. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough positive things about FMA. They've always gone the extra mile to accommodate my pets and the pets of people I know. They've saved the lives of three pets I know in emergency situations when time was of the essence. They don't turn their answering machine on at five min. till closing time - if they are there, they answer the phone. Dr. Bachman explains everything, which I really appreciate. The staff is extremely competent and compassionate and dedicated above and beyond. I have seen the lengths they go to - even when they are busy or it's late in the day. I am so thankful for their hours too - they are open until 7 pm during the week and till 5 on Saturday. And they truly offer a great service to the community by offering low-cost vaccinations and low-cost spay/neuter twice a week. I have long been calling them the friendliest place in town !
